Office Administrator
Description
Keeran Networks is seeking a talented Office Administrator who is ready for a new challenge in the exciting world of IT. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our financial transactions and providing financial support to our management team. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Data entry for invoicing, billing, purchase orders, and expense sheets
- Coordinating account payables and receivables, including AR collections (calls and emails)
- Performing the day-to-day activities of Keeran Networks’ accounting systems and maintaining reliable accounting records
- Processing all cheque requests, banking procedures, and fund transfers as required
- Performing payroll duties and record-keeping for all employee and contracted personnel, including all required tax reports and deposits as required
- Ensuring the annual CRA corporate filing for Keeran Networks
- Performing various operational duties as requested by the partners
- Contributing to increasing the profitability of Keeran Networks by assisting with streamlining expenses, reducing fixed costs, minimizing variable costs, controlling variances, etc.
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of billing to clients and follow up on all outstanding account receivables as required
- Answering/resolving billing and financial questions in an accurate and timely manner
- Electronic filing and light administrative duties as required
- Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the office
- Assisting with booking corporate travel
- Assisting with the logistics of staff social events
- Occasional resume screening and other light HR duties
Your resume should outline the following:
- 3+ years’ proven work experience in finance or accounting
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or similar is an asset
- Practical experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Bookkeeping/accounting background and comprehension of GAAP

Compensation
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
